Joyce Crawford Pollard

Joyce Crawford Pollard, 69, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000. She was born in New Hanover County on July 18, 1931, daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Effie Wiggins Crawford. Mrs. Pollard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving her are her husband, Fed Pollard, of the home; special niece, Rose Marie Wallace; great nephew, Todd Wallace; and sister, Ruby Crawford Hawkins, of Rocky Mount. Mrs. Pollard loved and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Section Hillside I, with the Rev. Clarence Correll officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunset Avenue and other times at 1136 Beechwood Drive, Rocky Mount.
