Robert Ashley Pittman

Robert Ashley Pittman, 25, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004. He was born May 16, 1979, in Nash County, son of Jerry Alvin Pittman and Sandra Pridgen Pittman. Robert loved fishing and hunting. He really enjoyed the simple pleasure life had to offer. He was preceded in death by an Uncle, Tommy Pittman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Sandra P. Drake of Rocky Mount; his father, Jerry Alvin Pittman of the West Mount Community; nine aunts, Phillis Barnes and husband Kim, Brenda Rooks and husband, Jimmie, Peggy Pridgen, Delilah Bullock and husband, James, all of Rocky Mount, Kathaleen Baker of the West Mount Community, Maggie Lee Baker and husband, Randolph of Nashville, Betty Jean Blackford and husband, Tom of Rocky Mount, Crystal Hope Hare and husband, Wayne of Wendell, and Doris Pittman of Rocky Mount; two uncles, Joe Pittman and wife, Daisy, and Lindberg Pittman and wife, Sarah, all of Rocky Mount; and a faithful friend, Kathy Rice of Momeyer.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home, and other times at the home, 5024 Redman Road. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
