Frances Vernell Pittman

Frances Vernell Pittman,61, died Tuesday, March 22, 1994 at her residence. Before her illness she was an x-ray technician for Howmet Corporation with over 17 years of service. She was formerly employed at the Daily Press Newspaper. She attended Victory Life Outreach Church, in Hampton, Va.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy M. Price, Goldsboro; two sons, Ray Mishew, Richlands and Glenn Minshew, Snow Hill; a sister, Carolyn Lancaster, Rocky Mount; a brother, Douglas Lemmons, also of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a very special friend, William T. Manry of Hampton, Va.
There will be a graveside interment service at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 1994 conducted by Johnson Funeral Home at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will gather at Mrs. Pittman’s sister’s home at 12 noon Thursday prior to the funeral, 2008 Brentwood Drive, Rocky Mount.
