Frances Erline Pittman

Frances Erline Pittman, 91, went to be with our Lord Thursday 27, 2009. She was born January 29, 1918 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Charles and Rosa Ella Fulmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Pittman; sister, Jessie Saunders; daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Pittman; son-in-law, David Howell.
She is survived by her four children, Charles Pittman and wife Betty of Rocky Mount, Wayne Pittman and wife Liz of Emerald Isle, Jeanette Allen and husband Richard of Rocky Mount, and William Pittman and wife Barbara of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren, Robbie Pittman, Paul Pittman, Ressie Bigelow, Ciji Pittman, Darlene Schroeder, Tony Howell, and Gwen Bester all from North Carolina, California, and South Africa; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, August 30, 2009 following the visitation in the chapel.
