Lucille Ingram Pitt

Lucille I. Pitt, 80, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2009. She was born Sept. 8, 1922, in Franklin County. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Lizzie Ingram. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Pitt; and brothers, Arthur Van Ingram, J.C. Ingram, Earl Ingram and Randolph Ingram.
She is survived by her brother, Henry Ingram; and wife Betty of Aulander, NC; several nieces and nephews; loving cat Aristotle; extended family, Linwood and Viola Bowen; and family who loved her and will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before the funerall service at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mousaleum. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, following the visitation in the Mausoleum with burial to follow in the park.
