Wiley Grady Pierce, 66, died Sunday, July 18, 1993.
He was born May 7, 1927, in Wilson County, the son of the late Wiley Lovett and Rosa Etta Robinson Pierce. He was a navy veteran of World War II and the retired owner of Pierce’s Body Shop, Garage and Wrecker Service.
Surviving: wife, Frances Joyner of Nashville and Frank Pierce of Sharpsburg; daughters, Kay Temple of Rocky Mount, Denise Pierce and Sheila Link, both of Nashville, and Wanda Seese of Charlotte; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Dozier of Rocky Mount; brother, Elmer Pierce of Sharpsburg.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ken Cobb and the Rev. Lawrence Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.today at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, other times at the home, Rt 1, Box 82, Rocky Mount.
