Obituary for Tyrone Perry
Nashville – Tyrone Perry 53, of Nashville passed away on December 20, 2018 at Duke Raleigh Hospital surrounded by his family. Born on April 18, 1965, he was the son to Mary Ann Alston Perry and the late McKinley Perry. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Edward Perry.

Tyrone leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Mary Ann Moore Perry and daughter, Shiletta Jordan. He is also survived by two grandsons, Michael and Nathan Clax; sisters, Dianne Parker (Ronnie), Elizabeth Strickland (Grayland), Joanne Stewart (Shannon); and Anthony Perry (Deborah) and George Richardson. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews and a special nephew Leeland Mooneyhan.

Tyrone graduated from Northern Nash High School, he worked for D & L Masonry for many years and his last employer was Continental Contitech.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Reginald Silver officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relative’s other times at the home 723 South Smith Street, Nashville, NC. The repass will be at 313 Meadow Park Drive, Nashville, NC.
