Rachel J Perry

Rachel Jenkins Perry, 88, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001. Rachel was born in Nash County, March 15, 1913, daughter of the late Willis Mc and Maude Sykes Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rommie Alliston Perry, sisters, Blanche Wester, Chessie Bunn, Etta Jenkins and Lorene Brown.
Surviving brother, Randolph Jenkins of Rocky Mount; sister, Willie Helen Brown of Durham, NC; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, with the Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. Burial will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home of the nephew, Clarence Jenkins, 3141 E. Gypsy Trail, Rocky Mount, NC.
