Surviving: wife, Mrs. Esther Thompson Pearce; daughters, Mrs. Romano Pearce Worrell of the home, Mrs. Patsy Pearce Tiley of Wilmington, N.J., Mrs. Delores Pearce Hendricks of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Benjamin Pearce of Portsmouth, Va.; sisters, Mrs. Sarah McDonald, Mrs. Nona Thompson and Mrs. Katherine Elder, all of Rocky Mount; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
