BATTLEBORO- Margie Ann Trevathan Peace,61, passed away on Tuesday,Feb.6,1996.
She was Born Aug.13.1934,in Edgecombe County,daughter of the late Grover and Martha Council Trevathan. She was very active and held many offices with the Ladies of Rocky Mount Moose Lodge No. 938.

Surviving: husband, Raymond Peace,daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann and Johnny Tripp of Elm City.Daughter,Melissa Dawn Peace of the home,grand-daughters,Ashley Renee Peace of the home,Shannon Nichole Tripp of Elm City,grandson,Richard Shane Tripp of Elm City,Grover “Shorty”Trevathan and Julian “Jake” Trevathan both of Sharpsburg,sisters,Evelyn Sills and Mary “Pudding” Hoggard,both of Roanoke Rapids,Nellie M.Peace of Rocky Mount.

Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m. Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home,Sunset Avenue Chapel,with the Rev. Carroll Bradbury officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
