Eddie C Parker Jr.

Eddie “E.C.” Parker, Jr., 93, passed way Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was born December 7, 1923 in Nash County to the late Eddie Sr. and Alice Eason Parker. E.C. loved his family and enjoyed fishing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded n death by son; Willard Lee Parker and daughter, Stormy Gail Parker; also several brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 41 years, Mae Walker Parker; three sons, Michael Parker ( Delores), Dwight Parker (Dianne) and Eddie Parker III; two daughters, Phyllis Conney and Linda Parker; one brother, Deleon Parker ( Connie); one sister, Dorothy Collie; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10:30-12:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Nelms officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
