Joseph Samuel Mullen

Joseph “Joe” Samuel Mullen, 95, died Thursday, August 2, 2001. He was born January 15. 1906 In Nash, County, the son of the late Jim and Zellie Lamm Mullen.
He is survived by three sons, and daughters-in-law, Walt and Jean Mullen, of Rocky Mount, Roy and Hilda Mullen, of Carolina Beach. and Charles “CD” and Patty Mullen, of Carolina Beach: 7 grandchildren. Kenneth, Greg. Mike, Cathy, Steve, Mark, and Gene; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-great-grandchildren; half-slster, Lola Patterson, of Zebulon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 200 U at Wheeler and Woodllef Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Ray Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
