Wayne Moss

Wayne Darnell Moss, 76, passed away April 3, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1946 in Nash County to the late Thurman and Sally Moss. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law Glenn Joyner. Wayne loved his family, fishing, hunting, farming, working outside, horses and riding motorcycles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Paulette Gupton Moss; daughters Dana Moss Barberio and Darlene Moss Joyner; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Michael Barberio, Isaiah and Zechariah Joyner, Michelle Joyner Ordonez (Jonathon); great grandchildren, Isabella, Christian and Camila Ordonez; sister Undean Moss Lee (Bill); sister-in-law Pat Gupton Holland (Robert); many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Chris Sorenson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
