Parthia Fernando Morris

Parthia Fernando Morris, 67, retired industrial engineer with Rocky Mount Mills, died Wednesday.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Gladys Gay Morris; three daughters, Mrs. Leunette Metcalf of Columbus, Ga., Mrs. Barbara Ann Cooper of Albany, Ga., and Mrs. Linda Shepherd of Woodbridge, VA.; stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Morris of Columbus, GA.; one brother, Chester A. Morris of Decatur, GA.; two sisters, Mrs. Merle Thompson of Griffin, GA.; and Mrs. Maudy Rochester of Charleston, S.C.; one half-sister, Mrs. Daphne Wallace of Columbus, GA.; nine grandchildren
Funeral services were Friday at 4 pm at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Rocky Mount, with the Rev. Bruce Peacock and the Rev. George Carapelle officiating. Burial followed in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
