James Daniel Lucas

James Daniel Lucas, 84, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was born September 26, 1935 to the late James William and Elizabeth Daniels Lucas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Kermit Lucas and sister, Dorothy Garris.
James is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eloise Joyner Lucas; brother, Shelton Lucas (Martha) and a sister, Geraldine Griffin.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
