Vivian Strickland Lewis

Annie “Vivian” Strickland Lewis, 92, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born May 25, 1929 in Franklin County to the late Eddie Strickland and Doris Joyner Strickland. Vivian loved to read. She took care of her family and loved to help friends and others in need. She was preceded in death by her former husband Eddie W. Lewis, and brothers Harold and James Strickland.

She is survived by sons Eddie “Woody” Lewis, Jr., Bruce Lewis (Danita); daughters Frances Lewis Roberts (Ned), Cindy Lewis Smith; grandchildren Bradley Puckett (Melissa), Laura Smith Rohrbaugh (Daniel), Blair Smith, Christopher Smith; great grandchildren Hannah Puckett, Michael Puckett, Hayden Puckett, Bailey Puckett, Crosby Rohrbaugh, Vivian Grace; and a sister, Rose Strickland Godfrey (Lee).

A entombment service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Ray Vick officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
