Elliott Thomas Leggett

ROCKY MOUNT – Elliott Thomas Leggett, age 69, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. Born in Martin County, NC on February 2, 1949, he was the son of the late Benjamin Paul Leggett, Sr. and Kathleen Roebuck Leggett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Susan Adams Leggett; brothers, Benjamin Paul Leggett, Jr. and Craig Leggett.
Elliott leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Ray Davidson and wife, Marcie. He is also survived by grandchildren, Caleb Scott Davison and wife, Kimmie, Hannah Lynn Davidson, Micaiah Ray Davidson, and Lydia Lee Davidson; and nephews, Glenn Leggett, Mitchell Leggett, Mark Leggett, and David Leggett.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with his son, Chaplain (MAJ) Ray Davidson officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
