Opal Riddle Lee

ROCKY MOUNT – Opal Riddle Lee, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2018. Born in Burnsville, NC on April 19, 1933, she was the daughter of James Cornelius and Josephine Lewis Riddle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Russell Lee; her four sisters and two brothers.
Opal leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Roger Dean Rowe and his wife, Connie, of Nashville; two grandsons, Brandon C. Rowe and Dustin K. Rowe also of Nashville; her brother James Riddle and his wife, Mae, of Burnsville; and her beloved pet dog, Dude.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:30 PM inside the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM inside the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
