Louis Stevenson Joyner

Louis Stevenson Joyner, 55, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2004. He was born October 2, 1948, in Nash County, son of Odessa Joyner Woodcock and the late George Ray Woodcock.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Odessa Joyner Woodcock of the home; one brother, Larry Woodcock of Rocky Mount; one niece, Natalie Woodcock; and three nephews, Nathan, Nicholas, and Neil Woodcock.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Bowling Funeral Home, and other times at 116 Timberlane Drive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004, in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Pridgen and the Rev. Marshall Pridgen officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
