Elizabeth Mae Peele Joyner

Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Peele Joyner, 94, passed away, Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born in Bertie County and retired from Singer Sewing Machine Company. She is the daughter of the late Lewis Waverly Peele and Lettie Parker Peele. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clifton Joyner.

Survivors include her son Michael Joyner and wife Pam; daughter Teresa Carroll and husband David; grandchildren Jonathan Joyner and wife Paige and their daughter Taylor, Richard Joyner, Graham Carroll and wife Lacy and their son Peter and Macon Carroll and wife Aubrey and their sons Crosby and Pierson.

Graveside Service will be 12:00 noon, Monday, November 7, 2022 in the Rocky Mount Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jody Wright officiating; entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
