Joann Colbert Hopkins

Jo Ann Colbert Hopkins, 73, passed away Saturday August 20, 2016. She was the former spouse of the late Mitchell O’Brien Hopkins. She was also preceded by her parents Joe Thomas Colbert & Gevie Hughes Colbert and brother George Colbert.

She is survived by son: Thomas Hopkins & fiancée Kara Denton, daughters: Mitchie Griffin & husband Bob, and Amy Hopkins. Grandchildren: Shannon Griffin, Adam Hopkins & wife Amber, Josh Griffin, Maggie Hopkins, Ashley Baker, and Lindsey Griffin, Tyler Batchelor, Rachel Batchelor. Great grandson Bryson Hopkins. Sisters: Grace Thompson & husband Joe, Faye Nobles & husband Tim, and Judy Williams. Brother Danny Colbert.

Known to her children as Mama and “JoJo”, to her grandchildren and many who loved her. She devoted her life to her family and two fur babies Daisey & Jaxx.
She will be remembered, for her ability to make others laugh, her giving heart and sharing her faith, hope and love.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
