Russell Glenn Hobbs

Russell Glenn Hobbs, 45, died Wednesday, June 10, 1992. He was born June 27, 1946, in Newport News, Va., son of the late Rupert and Flora King Hobbs. He was an electrician. Surviving: daughter, Ashley Hobbs of New Smyrna, Fla.; sons, Jason Hobbs of New Smyrna, Fla. and Eric Hobbs of Darlington, S.C.; sisters, Janet Lewis of Tarboro, Judy Harrell of Faison, and Sylvia Orren of Acworth, Ga.; brothers, Gerry Hobbs of Virginia, Bill Hobbs of Pinetops, and Harold Hobbs of Nashville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
