Harold King Hobbs

Harold King Hobbs, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at his home in Nashville. He was born November 14, 1944 in Newport News, Va., to the late Rupert and Flora King Hobbs. Harold was a member of the Rocky Mount Moose Lodge, and had 28 years of service with Dillon Supply Co. He loved the outdoors. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Evelyn Hobbs of the home; one son, Harold Keith Hobbs and wife, Diane, of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Kimberly Sue Wall and husband, Darrin, of Nashville; two brothers, Gerry Hobbs of Okeechobee, Fla. and Bill Hobbs, of Pinetops; three sisters, Judy Harrell of Faison, Sylvia Orren of Gastonia, and Janet Lewis of Tarboro; and three grandchildren, Tony Wail, Kyle Hobbs and Mariah Hobbs. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2001 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 20, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home, with Rev. Sonny Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
