A funeral for Mrs. Elsie Phelps Gardner, 58, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Adna Bradshaw Phelps; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Cole of the home and Mrs. Lena Hewett of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Troy Phelps of Rocky Mount and W.T. Phelps of Roanoke Rapids.
