My sister Cindy was a good person; she loved life and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and enjoyed the outside. She especially loved the mountains where she and her daughters had many memories of being together and appreciating nature. She always made a special point to expose her daughters to the simple things in life. They enjoyed getting a blanket and gazing up at the stars to see the vast universe. She wanted to show them how anything is possible if you put your mind to it. She enjoyed making dinner and relaxing on the couch with her girls and watching movies together. Even when she wasn’t able to physically do for her children and grandchildren, she would always make sure they knew that they were loved and always made sure that for every birthday or holiday they had a special gift from her. She had two lovely daughters and each daughter had blessed her with two amazing grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren a lot and wanted to be able to do what she could for each one. Cindy was a good mother, friend, daughter and sister and will be deeply missed.
Please join family and friends to remember Cindy at a Graveside Service 3:30, Friday, October 7, 2022 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4450 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
