Catherine Webb Ezzell

Catherine Webb Ezzell, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on July 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alex W. Webb and Dora Harrell Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Adron Ezzell; her son, Randy Ezzell; her brothers, Reddin S. Webb, Alex Walter Webb, Clifton Joseph Webb, Thomas Franklin Webb, Phillip Conrad Webb, and Leslie V. Webb; and her sister, Helen Louise Webb House.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Ezzell Long (Ray) of Fountain; her grandchildren, Christopher Ezzell (Carol) of Arlington, VA, Renee Dillon (Jeff) of Havelock, Daniel Hicks (Amanda) of Nashville, Andy Hicks (Erin) of Fountain; and nine great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
