William Lee Eason

William Lee Eason, 81, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was born December 13, 1942 in Greene County to the late Kirby and Sallie Meadows Eason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Sumner and niece, Elaine Ray.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 29 years, Eunice Eason; son, Gary Eason (Reyna); brothers, Toby (Gail) and Sandy Eason; sister, Sue Kirkland (Bruce); grandchildren, Sergio and Henry Dearcia; great-grandchildren, Heaven, Matthew, and Dakota; niece, Dinah Davenport; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00-10:45 am at Cornerstone Funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Rev. Bill Brantley officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
