Rocky Mount – Alma Ruth Proctor Crocker, 90 passed away Sunday, May 06, 2018 at home. She was born October 1, 1927. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Ottis “Bill” Crocker Jr., daughter Vicki Nelms and one brother.

Alma is survived by her three daughters: Nancy C. Barker of Sylva, NC, Janet C. Spring, and Lisa C. Carmody all of Rocky Mount, one son Ricky Crocker of Rocky Mount. 10 grandchildren; Dianne Ringer, Karen Parker, Heather Minchew, Travis Crocker, Vanessa and Justin Nelms, Julia, Sarah, Kaitlyn and Andrew Carmody, 5 great-grandchildren; Tyler and Ragen Ringer, Jessica Hinnant, Gavin Parker and David Minchew.

Alma loved her family and church. She was a member of Englewood Assembly of God.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount, NC. Burial will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
