Michael B. “Mike” Collins, age 66, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Somerset Court Assisted Living Facility in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was born on January 8, 1958 in Nash County to Frank and Barbara Fulghum Collins, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Jeff Collins and wife, Beanie of Wake Forest; aunt, Katie Collins Johnson and husband, Harold of Fuquay Varina; niece, Rachel Suffern and husband, David of Wake Forest; nephews, Charles Cyrus of Wilmington and Jonathan Cyrus of Raleigh; great-nieces and nephews, Morgan Cyrus (Zach), Chuck Cyrus (Rebecca), Catherine, Isaac and Micah Suffern; great-great-nieces, Ellie and Caroline Cyrus; as well as numerous cousins, friends and other extended relatives.

A service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at Rocky Mount Bible Church, 5630 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00am.
