Rocky Mount –

Wanda Louise Arnold Capps, 71, of Rocky Mount went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 1, 2024. Her journey began on June 10, 1952 in Franklin County, daughter of James Edward Arnold, Sr. and Thelma Wheeless Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Capps and nephew, Dale Narron.

She is survived by her brother, Cecil Arnold (Carol) of Morehead City; sister, Clara Jane Narron of Wilson; nephews, Randy Arnold, Tommy Narron and Austin Arnold (Tejhy); nieces, Ashley Taylor (Jonathan), Allison Jones (Justin), Rebecca Whitmire (Bradley) and Kim Ward. Wanda very much loved her great-nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Caroline, Capri, Esmie, Davis, Noah, William, Kielyn and Anslee.

Wanda enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her many pets that she had throughout her life, being outdoors, cutting grass, fishing and helping others whenever she could. Wanda’s family is forever grateful to the staff at Rocky Mount Rehabilitation for taking such great care of Wanda. To all who loved on her, making her smile and gave her a thumbs up, here is a big “THUMBS UP” from her family to you!

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:30 – 12:30pm at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. A graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4544 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
