James Frerick Bulluck, Jr

ROCKY MOUNT – James “Jimmy” Bulluck, Jr., age 80, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. Born in Nash County, NC on December 24, 1943, he was the son of the late James Frederick Bulluck, Sr. and Eva Mae Lee Bulluck. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Browning and Pat Boone.

Jimmy served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1971. He was very proud to serve his country. Jimmy was a man of great faith and enjoyed reading his Bible as it got him through everyday life. He was a family man and loved spending time with them and going to the lake and making homemade ice cream on Saturdays. Jimmy’s children and grandsons were the apple of his eye.

Jimmy is survived by wife of 59 years, Beverly Long Bulluck; his son, James Bulluck and wife, Tammy, of Rocky Mount; his daughter, Angela Rose and husband, Troy, of Rocky Mount; his grandsons, Justin Rose, Jay Bulluck, and Ayden Bulluck; his sisters, Sylvia Fisher and husband, John and Linda Zelesnick; and several special nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum with Pastor Johnny Hudson officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service at the mausoleum until 12:30 PM.
