Gail Hamrick Brown

Gail Hamrick Brown, age 74, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Born in Roberson County, NC on April 12, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Garvis Hamrick and Ruth Hawkins Hamrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. L. “Dee” Brown; son, Lee Brown; and daughter, Ann Brown.

Gail leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Linda Boyd and Cathy Baker; and son, Tony Brown. She is also survived by granddaughters, Krystal, Olivia, Jamie, Ashley and Alyssa; grandsons, Josh, Lindy and A. J.; grandson-in-law, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Kristina, Kristopher, Mason, Zach and Colby; as well as several friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Win McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
