Obituary
William Marvin Lamm, 83, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017. He was born March 11, 1934 in Nash County to the late Alfred and Beulah Cockrell Lamm. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Alton and Robin Lamm and a sister Lucille McCullen. He served in the Air Force in which he earned the Korean War Service Medal 1951, UN Service Medal 1952, Good Conduct Medal 1957-1960 and the Air Force Longevity Service Award 1960.
Marvin is survived by his wife Patricia Lamm; daughters Cynthia Louise Cox and husband Jarvis, Bonnie Lamm Joyner and husband Preston and Jo Ann Johnson and husband Larry; grandchildren Lisa Anne Smith Webb and husband Bryant, Chuck Joyner and wife Roberta, Matthew David Turner and wife Heather and Aeriela Cone-Lamm; great grandchildren Levi Weston Turner, Jon Luke Turner and Hunter Webb; sisters Barbara Capell and Hilda Parrish and husband Junior.
The visitation will be held 6pm-8pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will be at 11am on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Price officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park
